Now with an AI Assistant to vibe no-code any data-driven process! It is open-source and available in our cloud or as a self-hosted deployment, so you stay in control of your data.
Baserow started as an open-source alternative to Airtable — giving teams full control over their data, with the freedom to self-host and extend the platform however they want.
Today, we’re launching Baserow 2.0, a big step forward that brings together databases, applications, automations, AI agent building and vibe no-coding in one secure, open-source platform.
What’s new:
Automations Builder (beta): Build no-code workflows to eliminate manual steps.
Kuma, your AI assistant: Chat in plain language to create databases, formulas, views, forms and automations using an LLM of your choice.
AI + Automations: Combine LLMs and workflow logic to build smart workflows including AI agents.
Application Builder: Create custom apps directly on top of your data.
Baserow 2.0 is open-source and available on Cloud or on premise. GDPR, HIPAA and SOC 2 type 2 compliant for all users.

Congrats on @Baserow 2.0! The "build databases, apps & agents with AI, no code" promise is ambitious - excited to see how you're executing it.
Having designed UI/UX for 200+ products over 11+ years, I'm always curious about no-code builder experiences. How are you balancing power-user flexibility with beginner-friendly onboarding?
Specifically: when users create automation workflows, how does Baserow visualize dependencies between tables/triggers? Database relationship mapping can get complex fast.
Also, any visual templates for common use cases (CRM, project tracking)?

I have been using Baserow for 12 months now and use it daily for a range of marketing related uses, both our own and client tables and applications. Baserow 2.0 is a significant upgrade to its capabilities particularly the Automations and internal AI making life easier for getting systems online and fully functional quicker.

I love the updates. Congrats! AI powered and open source is so powerful for so many. Being able to roll these kinds of apps out quickly and still own it (and completely control the data) is a huge value prop. Is it bring your own keys for AI models?

I've been using Baserow as my go-to database solution for AI workflows in n8n. It's user-friendly, so I can share it with non-technical people who can easily understand what's going on, while also providing a strong technical base to build on, such as their API and n8n nodes. Would recommend!
