Why I built this:
I was shopping for a face mask on Amazon. 5 stars, 19 reviews. Looked legit.
I built a quick script to analyze the reviews. Verdict: 3 out of 100. Nearly all reviews posted in the same week. Almost no verified purchases.
I realized: Amazon will never tell you this, because they profit either way. So I turned it into a Chrome extension.
What BasedUsers does:
Opens on any Amazon product page. Analyzes all visible reviews. Gives you one honest answer: Based, Kinda Based, or Not Based.
