Today we’re launching the Basedash Agent: an AI chat agent that can answer questions, create visualizations, and surface insights on all your company's data.
The idea is simple: you ask a question in chat, and the agent does the heavy lifting—running SQL on your database, pulling context from 600+ SaaS tools (Linear, HubSpot, GitHub, Slack, and more), and returning a clear answer. When it helps, it can generate a longer report including charts and visualizations that you can pin to dashboards.
You can also add custom context about how your company works, the terminology you use, and the metrics your team cares about. The Basedash Agent takes all this into account every time you ask it a question.
There’s also a Slack integration: just mention Basedash in any channel and get answers right in Slack.

We have Basedash Agent running in the background already giving us weekly updates - and its been absolutely awesome.
The operation is simple and does not require any technical skills. You can use natural language to create the chart you want, and AI automatically generates visual content. The effect is great

I tried countless of BI tools and nothing comes close to Basedash. And somehow they managed to get even better with the new Agent.

@Basedash has been a huge time-saver for us - no more building custom dashboards just for clients.
It’s already a must-have for internal analytics and especially for growth teams, helping anyone quickly check tool usage and performance. I also love the direction toward moving from charts to insights - this launch feels like a big step forward.
For the future, it’d be amazing to see more support for client-facing dashboards. Things like row-level security or even simple prompt-based rules (e.g. org_id restrictions) would make it easy to safely embed Basedash for clients.
Another suggestion: if agents and reports could be linked to specific dashboards, they could inherit context (variables, filters) automatically, creating a smoother, end-to-end experience.

I've seen so many posts about how people spend ages copying data from spreadsheets into reports. It seems like such a hassle.

Have been super excited about this launch. Being able to answer complex questions within the course of a meeting, without jumping into the context of SQL, lets my team fly. The evals make it that much easier to justify using.
