Baro is a 100% on-device migraine diary. Log an attack in one tap, and let on-device statistics surface your real triggers — short sleep, falling pressure, humidity — each shown with its evidence. No account, no SDKs. The App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected."
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Baro after years of being told my migraines were "probably the weather" — with no real way to prove it.
Baro is a migraine diary with one hard rule: your data never leaves your phone. No account, no analytics, no third-party SDKs. The App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected on every row — and because there are zero SDKs, that's verifiable, not just a promise.
How it works:
• Log an attack in one tap when it hits — even mid-migraine, in a dark, low-glare mode.
• Baro freezes the context — sleep, heart rate, barometric pressure, humidity — from Apple Health & Apple Weather, all on-device.
• On-device statistics (not a black-box model) surface your real patterns: "3× more likely after nights under 6h — 14 of 22 attacks." Every insight shows its evidence.
• A daily forecast flags when today's conditions line up with your past attacks — before one starts.
• One tap creates a clean PDF for your neurologist.
Logging is free forever. Pro adds the patterns, forecast and doctor report (14-day trial, or a one-time Lifetime for the subscription-averse).
iPhone + Apple Watch + widgets + Lock Screen, in 10 languages.
Baro is a self-tracking tool, not a medical device — insights are associations, never a diagnosis.
I'd love your feedback, especially on the privacy model and whether the insights feel trustworthy. AMA! 🙏
Love seeing more privacy focused tools, especially in use cases traditionally heavily mined.
honestly the evidence next to each trigger is the part that sold me, like it actually shows why it thinks short sleep or pressure matters. also pretty rare to see "data not collected" on a health app, feels good to log an attack without worrying about it going anywhere.

Baro was hunted by Mathieu Bolard. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
