Bardar is a new map app that connects nightlife patrons to venues and events in real-time. Initially based in Sydney, we display over 350 bars, pubs and nightclubs along with info about these venues such as what's on, ticketed events and live busyness data.

This is my product! I developed Bardar along with my cofounder Oli because we found it was way more difficult than it should be to organise and experience a great night out. As Gen Zs, Oli and I are accustomed to using helpful apps to organise and quality-assure real world experiences such as going out for dinner (OpenTable or TheFork), going to the movies (Rotten Tomatoes and Hoyts.com) or travelling (TripAdvisor, Google Maps and TripIt). But when it came to going out, we found there was no platform to help us find great experiences and avoid terrible ones. This is why we developed Bardar. First and foremost, we wanted an easy-to-use, all-in-one app to help us maximise our nights out. If it can help other people do the same, we think that's pretty awesome.

The idea is nice. Do you have any plans to expand Bardar to other cities or even globally in the future? Having a one-stop shop to discover nightlife options around the world would be amazing!

Wow. Great application. Very excited to use this in my life! When you were developing, what map you go for a map based interface over a scroll option?

Congrats on launching! Looks very cool! Looking forward to cover cities in other countries!

A bar mile with goals (besides the obvious one)? Looks curious, it's always interesting to move towards something specific than just from bar to bar.

Congrats on the launch guys! It gives me Waze vibe for going out. All the best🙌🏻

Congratulations to your launch, Dexter! amazing invention, just gave it a good upvote

This is cool - and looks super slick (although I struggled a little with your stretched font!). Congratulations on launching - big moment! A Q: How are you thinking about commercialisation? Do venues pay to be featured? Do users subscribe to access?

Congrats guys, this looks cool and i am hoping you to add more cities outside of the Australia.

If executed well this can be a great idea. I think you should promote it in Sydney based groups or via local influencers to get initial critical mass quickly. Congratulations on the launch .

Congrats on the launch Dexter 🚀 How much effort does adding a new city involve? Asking because you didn't launch with the greatest city in Australia aka Melbourne 😂
