I'm Igor, co-founder of Banger.Show, and we are excited to introduce you to our re-designed video editor designed for musicians! 🚀
Our journey started 8 months ago when I was tired of the way producers on Twitter teased their unreleased songs. They screen-recorded the Files or Dropbox app on their iPhones and then posted the recording. It seemed lifeless and static to me. I was like "Why are you making your profile feed look like junk?"
So me and my friend built the first version of the app that fixes it: it allowed you to create a video for your song from a template with some visualizer in it
The "cartoonish CDJ" videos went viral on Reddit back then. A lot of cool producers signed up: Virtual Riot, Effin, Hairitage, SoDown, and many others. As a bass music fan, I was so excited!

We've been continuing to release simple yet good-looking video templates, but the amount of daily active users hasn't grown much. Many people were saying it lacks "more customizable options" and we knew that it was time to change something
For around a month we were thinking: can we somehow get close to the looks of videos that were made in Blender or Cinema 4D? After a month of research, we figured out it's technically possible to do
We built a custom Windows server for video rendering and coded the new editor UI. The update is called Banger.Show 2.0. You can create visuals for your music in just a couple of clicks:
- Add 3D models
- Add 3D text
- Add Images
- Use pre-built GLSL Shaders (reactive to music)
- Use your background videos
So everything now happens in a "3D world" and works in your browser!
