Hunted bySergeiSergei

Hybrid edge platform: an open-source Java agent that turns cameras, sensors, and physical systems into one automated setup, paired with a hosted portal for remote access over WebRTC. Speaks ONVIF/RTSP, Modbus, MQTT; detects with YOLO or Gemini AI. Video and sensor data stay on your hardware - the portal only handles connection and billing. Free Community plan. An alternative to Frigate, Blue Iris, and Shinobi.

Hey Product Hunt! We're launching Banalytics after realizing how many industries struggle with cloud-only monitoring solutions. Would love to hear from system integrators, industrial operators, or anyone dealing with VPN nightmares in IoT deployments. What's your biggest pain point with current SCADA/monitoring platforms? If you have infrastructure that needs monitoring - let's deploy something together and see how our edge-first approach works in your environment!

Native Home Assistant integration would be a huge win for a lot of folks in this space, especially since you're already handling MQTT and on-device detection. Even just a published add-on or HACS component with live camera streams and event entities could make Banalytics the go-to pick over Frigate for HA users who want self-hosted plus a managed portal.

Setup was painless and the YOLO detection on my old RTSP cameras just worked without me messing with configs for hours. Nice that the video never leaves the box too.

The YOLO integration worked smoothly out of the box and I liked that video stays local while the portal just brokers the connection. Feels like a sane middle ground between Frigate and something more polished.

finally something for this. set up the agent on a pi with my existing reolpo cameras and the onvif integration basically just worked, no mucking about with weird streams. the on-prem video keeping is honestly the part i care about most

ran it on a spare rpi with an old ip cam and the onvif + yolo combo worked out of the box, which saved me an afternoon of fiddling with frigate configs.
