how the app groups feature works. Can I create custom groups based on my workflow or is it limited to default settings?

Congrats to the Badgeify team on the launch! This utility is perfect for those looking to streamline their macOS experience by adding apps to the menu bar, offering a neat solution for notification tracking and quick access while keeping the Dock hidden!

When I used it the download link on the website wasn't working properly. Maybe check on that to ensure users can access it easily.

I suggest you add an option for sound notifications as well. That way, I won't miss any important alerts while multitasking!

LOVE THIS. The Mac menubar is underrated and I often work with Cursor and ChatGPT to make me Menubar apps. This was super smart. How did you go about integrating the different apps? Congrats on the launch!

I recommend Badgeify for macOS users who want quick access to apps and notifications. The ease of use and access to notifications make Badgeify a great choice for productivity!

Congratulation on the launch! I can see this being useful for apps like 1Password which takes 2 clicks to open from their default menubar whereas Badgeify brings it down to 1.

Badgeify seems like a useful tool for macOS users who prefer a minimalist setup, offering quick app access and notification tracking from the menu bar. Congrats on your launch!

hey @yuexunjiang, hats off to you for creating badgeify. it sounds super handy for mac users and your idea of maximizing screen real estate is dearly appreciated. but, could the slight delay while switching apps be an area you can improve on? Just a thought! Keep up the good work though.

Congrats on the launch 🚀 I love the focus on maximizing the menu bar's potential. Best of luck.

Badgeify is a solid idea but I did find one drawback when you’ve got a lot of apps in the menu bar it can get pretty crowded up there. Maybe adding a collapsing or scrolling feature to handle multiple apps could help. Otherwise a great start for users who want a cleaner screen setup.

This is exactly what I didn’t know I needed. I love the freedom of hiding the Dock and having everything up in the menu bar instead. It’s especially great for those of us who work with a lot of apps but hate clutter. The smooth integration with macOS is top notch and it really enhances productivity.

Love Badgeify so far and here’s a thought for an extra feature what about adding a search functionality right in the menu bar? That way users could search for and launch any app directly from there without having to scroll or manually organize everything. It would streamline the experience even more.

Great utility. @yuexunjiang One improvement that could really elevate Badgeify is the ability to organize or group apps within the menu bar. Maybe a feature to create folders or categories for different app types? It would help users who have multiple apps open manage them even more efficiently.

Hey @yuexunjiang! Badgeify sounds like a game-changer for macOS users who love keeping their workspace tidy and efficient. The ability to add any app to the menu bar and track notifications seamlessly is a fantastic idea, especially for those of us who prefer a clean desktop with a hidden Dock. The customizable icons and app grouping features also sound like they'll really personalize the experience. I'm curious, how does Badgeify handle resource management in terms of performance? Looking forward to trying this out and seeing how it fits into my daily workflow. Great work on developing such a useful tool!

Really like the concept behind Badgeify but @yuexunjiang how does it handle more resource heavy apps like video editing software? Does placing them in the menu bar affect performance in any way? Also what’s the memory usage like for users who tend to have a lot of apps running at once?

What an awesome tool for Mac users who prefer a minimalist setup. Badgeify is a great way to keep things tidy while still having quick access to apps and notifications. Keep up the great work it’s a brilliant solution for productivity enthusiasts like me. Can’t wait to see future features.

I’ve been using Badgeify for a few days now and I’m impressed. @yuexunjiang It really declutters my workspace by moving everything to the menu bar. But I did notice a slight delay when switching between apps at times. Not a dealbreaker but something to keep in mind for future updates. Overall a very practical tool.
