BabyChain is a visual studio for chaining generative media models, backed by a durable HTTP API. Owners compose multi-flow image → video chains on a canvas, every edit persists automatically to Aurora, and the exact same chain contract is callable from product code through authenticated API routes. Deploy BabyChain, configure server-side credentials, design flows on the canvas, run them in place, and let products call the same durable API. #vercel-day

Today we are launching BabyChain. BabyChain is a self-hosted canvas studio and durable chain API for image and video model workflows. ComfyUI-style chains: image → refine → image-to-video → video-to-video, without a local GPU. Every step runs through provider APIs, with your own keys, inside your own deployment. The pain is familiar: canvas tools made model chaining composable, but the workflow lives inside a UI. It wants a GPU or a managed runtime. A product backend cannot call it. BabyChain closes that gap: design the chain on a canvas, the exact same chain is a durable HTTP API. Every output becomes the next input. This version includes: • multi-flow canvas studio with autosave and a results library • 57 image and video models across Alibaba Cloud, Black Forest Labs, BytePlus, Google, OpenAI, and Runway • 78,948 valid chain combinations • schema-true node cards, the UI cannot offer what the API rejects • BYOK execution, provider keys stay in your server environment • durable runs, with one signed callback at the end when a webhook URL is supplied • one-click Vercel deploy The architecture is one decision applied everywhere: Amazon Aurora owns every durable workflow fact. Vercel functions stay stateless. Each invocation advances a run by at most one provider step and persists to Aurora. Any instance can pick up any run mid-chain. Close the tab during an 8-minute video step, the run keeps going, because run state was never in the browser. Creators and developers: deploy it, chain your own models in your own cloud, and tell us what you automate first. Visit: https://babychain.babysea.live Repo: https://github.com/babysea-commu... This post was created for the purposes of entering that hackathon. #H0Hackathon #BabyChain #BabySea #AmazonAurora #Vercel #vercel-day

Who hunted BabyChain?

BabyChain was hunted by Randy. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
