Hey Product Hunt! 👋❤️ I'm Guna, the solo founder behind AYANA, and I'm really excited to finally share what I've been building! **It all started with a simple thought.** Many of us live away from our parents. Maybe we're studying in another city, working somewhere else, or just busy with everyday life. We want to know if they've eaten, taken their medicines, or simply had a good day. But calling multiple times isn't always possible. And honestly, parents don't always tell us when something is wrong. Their usual answer is, "I'm fine; don't worry about me." ❤️ That's what inspired me to build **AYANA, a WhatsApp-based daily care companion for parents.** I chose WhatsApp because I didn't want parents to learn another app or deal with complicated technology. AYANA helps with daily wellness check-ins, medicine reminders, meals, hydration, BP and sugar check-ins, and family updates. And because language matters, we're bringing AYANA to families in English, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Punjabi, and Gujarati. **Building this as a solo founder hasn't been easy.** From designing the product and writing the backend to handling WhatsApp integrations, fixing bugs, and testing reminders, I've been learning something new every day. There were plenty of moments when things didn't work as expected. But I kept coming back to one question: *Can I make it a little easier for someone to care for their parents, even from a distance?* AYANA isn't meant to replace phone calls, personal care, or human connection.
