AWS Documentation sucks! That’s why I built AWS Docs GPT. I've trained an AI model on every piece of AWS Documentation I could find, allowing you to quickly query, search, or chat to find your answer.

I’m super excited to be sharing AWS Docs GPT with you.
If you’ve ever used the AWS documentation you’ll know that it stinks! The documentation is criminally verbose, lacks clear examples, and even finding the right pages is much easier said than done.
As a result I turned to GPT-4 for help with AWS questions. But I grew increasingly frustrated with its September 2021 knowledge cut-off.
That’s why I built AWS Docs GPT so that you can easily query, search, and chat with every single item of documentation AWS has ever published!
For those of you that want to personalize the experience here’s how:
🔍 Toggle from `chat` to `search`: switching to search will allow you to find the sources within the docs much faster as we don't have to wait for the chat results to populate
🔢 Adjust the number of results: The fewer results, the faster the response. That said, for more comprehensive answers, increasing the results to ~10 will likely give you a better answer.
📏 Change answer length: This one’s pretty easy to figure out. Select the answer length that you prefer: short, medium, or long.
🎯 Select your desired similarity: You can use the similarity scale to measure the closeness between your prompt and the search results—a higher value indicates a stronger match.. I’d suggest leaving this on default for the best answers, but feel free to adjust as you’d like!

Super useful and surprised it wasn't done before. We use AWS all the time and it's a mission to learn everything.
Literally one of my biggest pain points with AWS is the docs. I've taken the route of using ChatGPT for this, but as you can guess, it gives a bit of a blurry picture of what is necesssary. Excited to use this for our inevitable Cognito issues!

Awesome tool! You're right — AWS docs are a pain to navigate, and oftentimes, the right answers require piecing together many individual docs. Already been playing around with AWS Docs GPT, and it's been super useful.
Would love to know if this tool also support AWS different SDKs and CLI commands—there a quite a few and they're all documented differently? Congrats on the launch!
Love the idea! The app itself is super intuitive and easy to use.
Would definitely recommend checking out the Gorilla paper for keeping up with rapidly changing docs.
