Top comment

Hi, I’m the founder of Awaira. Awaira is an app for people who pull their hair, pick their skin, or bite their nails without noticing. It uses camera to spot when your hand moves toward your face or hair, then gives you a nudge by AI detection. The aim is to help you notice the movement sooner. Awaira can’t tell whether you’re actually pulling, picking, or biting. Your camera video stays on your device. If you try it, I’d like to know whether the reminders are helpful or distracting. I’ll be here to answer questions.

Who hunted Awaira?

Awaira was hunted by Arman Grigoryan. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
