Hey Product Hunt, I'm Derick, a solo founder from Namibia 👋
My wife had just arrived that morning. That evening I went to an in-person meeting that was meant to be routine and ran five straight hours. I got home at midnight. That was the night I decided I wanted my time back.
So I built Avanot: an avatar that joins your online meetings, speaks from the notes you've prepared, and gives you a write-up afterward. It started as a fix for my own problem.
What it does today: it only works for Zoom/Teams/Meet, not in-person meetings. It's early alpha and rough in places. I'm looking for the first 10 people to use it on real meetings and tell me where it breaks.
I'd love to hear: which meeting would you hand off tomorrow, and which would you never?
I'll reply to every comment.
Avanot is like pain relief for a busy schedule! 😂🚀
Imagine you're sitting in one meeting, but you have another important engagement at the same time. You know you can't miss either one, and you find yourself wishing you could split yourself in two.
Well, that's exactly why we built Avanot! 💜
Avanot can represent you in an online meeting, follow the instructions you provide in your meeting notes, and send you a meeting update straight to your email as soon as the meeting ends.
No more wishing you could be in two places at once. Let Avanot help you!
