🛡️ Protect your code before it gets stolen and claimed by someone else! Software code gets stolen, and it will continue to be stolen. It could be a developer in your company who moved to another and took with them "a bit of their work" (which, by the way, might be around 85%), or it could be industrial espionage. What to do about it? - Protect the code rights, preferably from the first line. But how, when new code versions are released once a month or even once a week? Register copyrights manually for each update? - It does need to be automated. And what about different jurisdictions? Do you have to register in each country separately? - Ideally, you'd want to do it once and everywhere. 👋 Hi, I'm Ilya, founder of Autoproof, a mathematician and programmer from junior to CTO. We are launching Autoproof.dev, a service that automatically protects copyright for your code, stores evidence in the blockchain (currently on Polygon, and we'll integrate many others), and issues certificates that can be presented in court. All of this happens within a couple of minutes from the moment your developers write the code. And it's much cheaper than paying lawyers. Three important things: 1. 🤖 Complete automation: Once you connect our tools to your development processes, your code will be automatically protected, and you'll receive certificates by email. It's like a daily backup, but it's the recording of copyright. 2. ⚖️ We don't prevent plagiarism - people will always steal. In legal disputes, we provide 100% evidence of the timestamp of code creation - an irrefutable argument for IT experts (usually, a judge appoints a specialist to determine who wrote a specific piece of code first). 3. 🤐 Non-public code disclosure. We've learned to protect code copyright without revealing the actual content. We don't upload your files to any server; all processing happens locally. Only digital fingerprints of files end up in the blockchain and certificates. This makes our solution suitable for closed ecosystems, like the banking sector, and for those who don't want to store their code somewhere, such as on GitHub. A big company - save on lawyers who constantly register code; now it can be automated. A startup - add a slide to your deck that your codebase is protected from the first line. An investor or accelerator, consider us as perks for your companies; it strengthens your investments. Join us on this journey to change the old system of copyright protection! 💪 ⚡⚡⚡ And only until tomorrow, there will be a 90% discount for the first month. Hi Ilya, this sounds like a game-changer for companies who value their intellectual property. The mix of automation with blockchain technology for code protection seems like a smart and efficient solution. The non-public code disclosure feature is especially intriguing, as it addresses a major concern for many businesses. Wishing the Autoproof team great success in your endeavor to modernize copyright protection. The discount is a sweet touch for early adopters too! Keep it up!
Really cool concept! If you are only storing the file hash on the blockchain, what happens if someone simply changes a variable name? That would make the code bases "different" right?
This is like a trusty guardian for your code, automating protection from the get-go and ensuring privacy in legal matters. How seamlessly does it handle updates across different geographic locations or jurisdictions where legal and regulatory requirements may vary.?
Hi~ Congratulations on the launch! Can you tell more about legal components of the product? Can this product be already used in any countries for trials because government has a good knowledge and law base for blockchain use cases? If there is no countries where product can be used for trials right now, what are your predictions? In what regions such copyright registration will be accepted by lawyers first?
This is a really great tool you created here. Being able to fingerprint code without disclosing it is a game changer. I don’t have use for it personally but I will be sending some clients your way. Good luck with your launch
Your solution at Autoproof.dev sounds like a game-changer for protecting code rights! Automating the copyright protection process, storing evidence on the blockchain, and issuing certificates swiftly is an ingenious way to safeguard code without the hassle. Your unique perspective adds a layer of reliability to Autoproof. The fact that it's cost-effective compared to traditional legal avenues is a big win for developers and businesses alike. Excited to see how Autoproof revolutionizes code protection
No more sleepless nights worrying about code theft. Autoproof is my new digital bodyguard. ️ Congratss on the launchh
