Hi Product Hunt, I’m Fabrizio, the maker of AudioEnhancerMAX.
I wanted audio tools to answer more than “does it sound better?”: What changed? Who approved it? Can I undo it? Which services were allowed to touch the recording?
That is why AI governance is part of the editing workflow. Proposed speech edits start at Keep. You decide what to apply, can undo or redo decisions, and retain the original recording. Processing reports and Project Capsules carry the rendered audio together with the decisions, transcript and file hashes needed to review it.
Core cleanup and transcription run locally on your Mac. Optional external services and trusted-LAN processing have separate controls. Models may need a first download. Reports support traceability; they do not certify transcript accuracy, consent or legal compliance.
The app is free and open source under MIT, for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later. The website provides the latest direct build and an earlier stable release, each with its changelog. The Mac App Store submission is a separate channel.
