Lectures, meetings, interviews...who has time to relisten? Upload your recordings to Audio Chat and ask your questions!

It's a brat summer with Audio Chat ;) With Audio Chat, you can upload your audio recordings and ask any questions about them (summaries, specific points, "who said this?", etc.) For context, I'm a new grad who has been going through the full-time job interview process. I record all my interviews so I can listen back and figure out how to improve my answers or see what I messed up on. I figured it would be so much easier to be able to "chat" with my recordings instead of listening to the full recording. For instance, I would ask: "List all of the interview questions that were asked." "How could I improve my answer on the time complexity question?" "What do you think I need to practice given my responses?" This would also be great for lectures: "Summarize the key takeaways" "What specifically did the professor say would be on the exam?" "Expand on what he said about state variables." And meetings: "What features does the client need by next week?" "What is our ROI this quarter?" "What is our investor's biggest concern right now?" And much, much more! Hope this can help you in some way :) (DISCLAIMER: Audio Chat currently only supports files <=4MB. If this gets enough traction, I will keep hacking to accommodate unlimited file size!)

Wow, Audio Chat sounds like a super handy tool, especially for someone who records everything like I do! I love the idea of just asking questions instead of replaying the whole thing. How accurate is it with recognizing voices or pulling specific details? Also, any plans for handling larger files soon? Keep up the good work!
I’m wondering if the service offers any API integrations. It could be really useful for automating workflows in larger projects.
A colleague of mine was looking for a tool to help with reviewing and analyzing meeting recordings. I think this tool could be exactly what they need. I’ll definitely be sharing it with them!
Are there any limitations on the types of recordings or audio formats that the tool can handle?
I noticed the website link to the demo video wasn’t loading properly. You might want to check it out.
I like it ... it can really simplify keeping track of meeting recordings ... you can even delete the original recordings after some time and just keep this record. I see a big potential for this in B2B market. The only issue the competition from the big players will be fierce and will come soon. Well done, clever, clean, smart.
I’m curious about the accuracy of the transcription and how it handles technical jargon. That’s always a challenge with AI-based audio tools.
Not sure about this software, I've seen similar tools like Otter.ai and Sonix which also transcribe and sort through audio files, but they offer more versatile features like handling larger files and supporting different formats. The 4MB limit is quite a letdown, plus, relying too much on AI to catch specific details might not always be accurate, feels like it could be more trouble than listening to the recording yourself and, wouldn't you want to know the limitations before needing to rely on it fully? I’d be cautious about fully depending on it without some real-world testing to see if it genuinely saves time or just adds another layer of complexity to workflows.
Congratulations on the launch of Audio Chat! @shridharathi This tool offers great convenience for anyone who needs to revisit audio recordings, whether it's for interviews, lectures, or meetings. The ability to "chat" with your recordings and quickly extract key details without re-listening is a real time-saver. For recent grads, this is especially valuable for improving interview skills. Looking forward to seeing many benefit from it—wishing you tremendous success!
Congrats on the launch of Audio Chat, @shridharathi! This tool is going to be a game-changer for anyone juggling lectures, interviews, and meetings. The ability to interact with audio recordings like this is pure innovation. Use cases like extracting interview questions or summarizing lectures are super practical. I can see many users increasing their productivity and getting valuable insights from their past conversations. Excited to see where this goes! Upvoted! 🚀
Interesting idea but having a 4MB limit is frustrating, kind of defeats the purpose if you got long meetings or interviews, also not sure how effective it would be when it comes to more complex queries, hope there will be more updates soon to make it less restrictive
can make it easier for someone to remember the answer that should be mentioned again when asked a question
Audio Chat is a fantastic tool for anyone who deals with recordings from lectures, meetings, or interviews. Instead of spending hours re-listening, I can simply upload my recordings and ask specific questions. The responses are quick and accurate, making it a huge time-saver. Congratulations on the launch!
Congrats @shridharathi on this cool launch! Audio Chat sounds like a game changer for anyone handling interviews or lectures. The ability to interact with recordings and get specific insights is revolutionary for optimizing performance. Can’t wait to see how this evolves and what features you’ll add next! Upvoting for sure! #MakersUnite
This is such a valuable tool, @shridharathi! The ability to interact with recordings instead of re-listening makes reviewing so much more efficient. I love the idea of using it for interviews and lectures—definitely a game changer for those of us navigating the job market or trying to grasp complex topics. Can’t wait to see how this develops! Keep up the great work!
Congrats on the launch! This is a major milestone, and I’m thrilled to see it finally come to life. I’ll be using it for sure! @shridharathi
Congrats on the launch! Can users record and save their audio chats for later playback or sharing?
I stumbled across this app while browsing for tools to help with my online courses, the idea's cool but hits a wall with the 4MB limit, any chance of making it more flexible soon? also have you thought about adding features for non-audio notes, could boost its usability
This is such a cool concept, @shridharathi! I love the idea of being able to query audio recordings directly. How does the AI handle different accents or audio quality? Also, do you have plans for any integrations with other platforms, like Zoom or Teams? Could be a game changer for many! 📈
