Founder of Auction Finder USA Let me first thank you for taking the time to read our about page. My name is Dennis and I am 60 years old. I have been attending auctions since 1988. Back then, we relied on the Sunday newspapers to get information on any auctions that were upcoming. In the late 1990s the internet took off and a platform called eBay took the lead in the online auction space. Now in 2026, more people are gravitating back to auction houses — with the catch that they are mainly held online. Yes, there are still many auction houses that do in-person bidding, and to me that is where the fun is. I kicked the idea around for several years to have a website that pulled all of the auction platform links onto one website and kept the listings fresh and up to date. I remember the hours — and sometimes days — of sifting through Google pages, having to use several different keywords to get one result. Or at the top of every page would sit the same five paid auction sites and outdated listings. "Could I be the only person in the auction world who was tired of the Google search? Nope!" Auction-goers tend to gravitate toward one another and are always looking for that next angle. The internet has become yesterdays newspaper in all forms and ways — but in hyper mode. Back in the day you waited 24 hours to get the newspaper with new information. Today we get that same information instantly. Just as Google crawled the internet in the beginning and still does today, I would love to see Auction Finder USA become the Google of auction sites nationwide. Our goal is to put every auction site in one searchable website — no more keyword hunting. Next, we want the site to stay clean: as an auction ends, it will be deleted from the system within 24 hours, while at the same time our system is crawling the web and picking up new auctions to insert.
