Attic
Swipe your camera roll clean. Nothing leaves your phone.
Attic is a photo cleaner app that turns your camera roll into two calm minutes a day. Swipe left to archive, right to keep — every photo stays on your device.
Hi PH 👋
I built Attic because my own camera roll hit 12,000 photos and I gave up on it twice. Every cleaner I tried showed me a grid of thumbnails — a thousand decisions at once, so I made none.
So Attic asks one question at a time: this photo, keep or archive. A month takes about two minutes. Nine shots of the same sunset arrive as a single choice, and screenshots, videos and large files come as their own piles.
Two things I refused to compromise on:
• Nothing leaves your device. No accounts, no uploads, no server. It works in Airplane Mode — please test that, it's the fastest way to check any cleaner's claims.
• Nothing is deleted until you confirm. Everything waits in an Archive you can restore from, and the final delete still goes through your system's own trash.
150 swipes a day are free forever — not a trial. Pro removes the cap and unlocks the smart piles, $14.99/year.
Happy to answer anything about the on-device series detection — that part was by far the hardest to get right.

Who hunted Attic?
Attic was hunted by Arman Mkhitarian. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
