I made @gent because ideas show up when I am away from my desk. You can remember a bug on a walk while your computer is at home. @gent lets you email the task from your phone. A runner on your computer reads your Gmail Sent folder, starts Codex or Claude Code in your project, and replies in the same thread with Queued, Started and the result. You reply to continue the same session. You reply status to get progress. You reply stop to stop the agent. @gent uses no phone app, SSH or tunnel. @gent is free. Install it with uv tool install atgent.

Who hunted @gent?

@gent was hunted by kyisaiah47. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
