I wanted to build something that captures how I actually felt in the moment and not how I remember feeling later.
Most journaling apps let you edit, rewrite, or delete anything. And while that’s useful, I felt like it also made it too easy to unintentionally rewrite your own history. This is what I’m trying to solve with at8pm. I enjoyed building (and using) this. I hope you’ll enjoy it too!
I've been trying to journal recently, trying to do so on obsidian. having an app on my phone that locks mt entries would honestly be really helpful! such a cool idea. Do you have an android launch planned ?
I really like the privacy approach here. Keeping entries in personal iCloud rather than sending them to another server makes this feel much more comfortable for private thoughts.
