AstroNight: Astrophotography
Plan, shoot and learn astrophotography with your gear
AstroNight plans your night sky shoots. It combines moon phase, light pollution, night length and astronomical events to show you when to go out, then gives settings for your exact gear and target. Shoot with the built-in manual camera: set ISO, shutter, focus and shots, capture RAW, and apply your plan in one tap. AstroNight analyses your frames and tells you what’s wrong and how to fix it before the night is gone. The guide adapts from first-timer to advanced.
Hey Product Hunt, I’m Daria, builder of AstroNight.
As an astrophotographer, I got tired of checking the moon in one app, light pollution on a map, and settings advice on a forum, then still getting home with bright and blurry frames. AstroNight puts all of that in one place.
You tell it your gear (phone, camera, lens, telescope, tracker or guide scope) and what you want to shoot. It tells you which nights are worth it and what to set, based on moon, sky darkness and target. The guide adjusts to your level, so beginners get plain steps and advanced users get the detail.
It just launched, so I’d really like to hear what’s missing. What would make this useful for your setup?
