Every other AI deck tool makes you sit at a laptop and type a prompt. This one you can call. Brief Eric by phone, SMS, email or web — or from inside Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor via MCP. An editable PowerPoint (pptx) and a narrated video that presents it come back. Free watermarked preview: no account, no card. $29 once for the real file, yours to keep, no subscription required. Have a half-done deck? Upload it and Eric finishes it — polish, reskin to your brand, or build it out.

Hey Product Hunt — Joe here, maker of AskDeck.
Every AI deck tool I tried started from a blank page and assumed I was at my laptop with time to fill out a wizard. But most of my deck ideas show up between meetings or in the car. So I built Eric: an AI you can brief by phone call, text, web chat, or email. Describe what you need in about two minutes, get a watermarked preview back in minutes, and pay $29 once to download a real, editable .pptx that’s yours to keep. No subscription wall, no per-export fee.
Two things I especially cared about:
– Already have a deck started? Upload it and Eric finishes the last mile — polishes the formatting, reskins it to your brand template, or builds it out from your content. Not just blank-page generation.
– No fake logos or invented testimonials on the site. The preview is free with no card, you pay only if it’s good enough to actually send.
Would love your honest feedback — especially on the voice and SMS intake. What would make this a no-brainer for your next deck?

Comment highlights

i've got a ton of documents and ideas scattered everywhere. could try dumping it all into AskDeck just to see what it does. maybe it’ll help me actually get something coherent before i get distracted.

Hi all! How does the phone call actually work? do I need to prepare an outline first?

i like the idea of sending a text to kick off a deck. half the time i remember things right before bed or while i'm out for lunch, and it's a hassle to jot it all down or log in just to start. might actually use it if i don’t get sidetracked!

@thicreator interesting concept, and I like the pay-as-you-go option to just pay per deck when needed rather than a continuous subscription.

Great work, @thicreator! Looking forward to seeing how this product grows further. It would be great if the website’s design and overall experience could be simplified even further, as I currently find that it increases my cognitive load as I explore the product.

This sounds great. what if you need to make edits, can you have a running discussion while it updates and optimized the presentation?
