My problem with handing a kid an AI tutor was simple: every one I tried would
eventually just give the answer. Ask three times, phrase it as "check my work",
or simply wait - and out it comes. The homework gets done. Nothing gets learned.
Askarf is built so that cannot happen.
Arf is a voice tutor that works Socratically. Your child takes a photo of the
question and Arf talks it through with them on a shared whiteboard - drawing,
erasing, asking. It walks a hint ladder: nudge → concept → a similar worked
example → one single step. The last step is always the student's. Always.

verifier before it reaches the child. If a response would leak the answer, it
