Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Midhun, and I'm a little nervous and very happy to share ArthNow with you today.
What inspired us
In India, most mornings start the same way: a cup of chai in one hand and a phone in the other, trying to understand what's happening with our money. Did the market fall? What did the RBI decide? Is gold up again? Is that new IPO worth a look?
The problem we wanted to solve
Answering those simple questions meant opening five apps, closing a dozen pop-ups and reading headlines that shout but don't explain. We'd finish our chai feeling more anxious, not more informed. There was no shortage of finance news. There was a shortage of calm and clarity.
How our approach evolved
We started by simply pulling news from trusted publishers into one place. But we quickly learned that more news isn't better news. So we kept stripping things away. Every story now opens as a short summary, with the full article one tap away and no pop-ups or redirects. Then we noticed people reading on the go, so we added audio. And because no two people care about the same things, we built a feed that learns what matters to you, whether that's Nifty, gold, mutual funds or startups.

Who hunted ArthNow?
ArthNow was hunted by Midhun Thomson. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
