ArtCraft is Cursor for film. It's designed by filmmakers and artists with features most AI image and video tools lack: control and consistency. Our 2D canvas and 3D stage enable fully precise articulation and blocking of scenes and get rid of random "dice rolling". ArtCraft has full intentionality and repeatability so you "craft" instead of prompt. ArtCraft is open source and lets you to bring your existing subscriptions. Finally, ArtCraft has the powerful Seedream 2.0 model before the US launch
With ArtCraft, you can make short films like this in just a few hours:

ArtCraft has super controllable 2D and 3D editing for artists, as well as a bevy of video enhancement tools. This is meant to be the IDE for image and video.
Since ArtCraft is a desktop tool, it has models that no website aggregator (like Higgs, FreePik, Krea, etc.) has. We have MidJourney, WorldLabs, Grok, Sora, etc. You can even bring your own subscriptions. We'll be adding every service and API key to ArtCraft. It's the cheapest and most flexible way to generate foundation model image and video.
ArtCraft is available on Github in full. We're not aiming to disappear like websites or stage a rug pull. We're in it to be as important and long-lasting as Adobe.
ArtCraft is a lot like ComfyUI, except it's much less complicated, easier to install, and has a bunch of 2D and 3D visual design tools instead of complicated node graphs. For visual artists. We built it in Rust instead of Python, so it's a lot more stable and feels well put together.
Seedance 2.0 is available in the app before its American release, so you can try out the model everyone is talking about right now. You can make videos just like this one easily.
If you're looking to market your indie project, startup, game, or small business, ArtCraft could be the right tool for the job. Videos are so powerful, and ArtCraft makes it super accessible. (And it's open source!)
Cursor for Film is the perfect positioning for the prosumer shift.
The BYOK (Bring Your Own Keys) model is a genius move for power users. I am sharing something I spotted. I found cognitive friction gap on your hero page. How? You’re pitching Control to artists, but the page feels more like a Developer Tool than a Creative Suite.
Filmmakers don't want to own the code. What they want? They want to own the scene blocking and character consistency. By leading with the Desktop App and Open Source benefits, you’re burying your most lethal feature: the Seedream 2.0 integration.
That’s your Ferrari engine, but you’re selling the garage it sits in.
Why not lead with a "Side-by-Side" comparison of "Prompting vs. Crafting" right at the top?
(You can generate all the props and worlds from images, too! It's not "prompting", it's "crafting".)
You can create sets, characters, props, and then precisely "block out" your scene. A creative / art director will want to control what's in front of the camera, precisely position the camera and choose the "lens" (depth of field / foreground compression), and be able to revisit the same locations with consistency. Our tool makes all of that possible quickly and easily.
Extremely underrated product holy moly. The demo video is one of the best I have seen on PH. Congrats on the launch you guys!
