Artboard Studio
Free, open-source app store screenshots in your browser
Most screenshot tools want a subscription or an account. Artboard Studio is free and open source, and runs entirely in your browser. Lay out artboards, drop in device mockups (iPhone, Android, tablet, desktop, or your own frames), place your screenshots, add text and shapes, then export PNGs at the exact sizes Google Play and the App Store require. Projects save to your browser's IndexedDB, so nothing leaves your machine and there's no sign-up.
Hey Product Hunt,
I build apps on the side, and every launch hit the same wall: the store screenshots. I'd either wrestle them together by hand in an image editor, or pay for a screenshot tool with a subscription and an account I didn't want. It felt silly to rent software just to put a phone frame around a screenshot and export it at the right size.
So I built Artboard Studio. It's a browser-based editor where you lay out artboards, drop your screens into device mockups, add text and shapes, and export PNGs at the exact sizes Google Play and the App Store ask for. It's free, open source, and 100% client-side — projects live in your browser's IndexedDB, no account, nothing sent anywhere. It's built with Next.js and React.
Honest limitation: it's early, and there are more device frames and templates I still want to add. If you make apps, I'd love your feedback on what's missing.
What's the part of shipping a store listing you find most tedious?
