Hi Product Hunt! I'm Pablo, founder of Arignote.
Twenty years ago my team built Lilaberg, a school timetabling program that went on to serve more than 1,000 schools before a large company bought it. Arignote is us starting again, with everything we learned and a modern constraint solver.
In many schools, building next year's timetable still takes weeks of spreadsheet work. With Arignote you describe the school once (teachers, groups, subjects, rooms and the rules) and the solver places every lesson without clashes. The demo school in the app is a real secondary school with the names replaced: 41 teachers, 20 classes and 418 weekly lessons, solved in about two seconds on a recent computer.
It runs natively on Windows, macOS, Linux, iPad and Android, in eight languages, with data hosted in the EU. There is a free plan with no time limit, and if you send us your current timetable we'll load it for you.
