Argus
Booking, calendar and checkout for pet grooming salons
Hi Product Hunt 👋
We've run a multi-branch dog grooming business since 2018, and for years we ran it on software made for hair salons — or for nobody in particular. None of it understood that a groom is priced by the size of the dog, that a big coat is often two people's work, or that the customer who loves you still forgets to come back for ten weeks.
So we built Argus for our own salons, and we use it every day.
What it does:
• A calendar with a column per groomer — drag to move or reassign
• A branded booking page that only offers times you can actually work
• Prices by pet size, set once and applied automatically
• Checkout that works out each groomer's commission, including assistant splits
• Reminders timed from each breed's coat, so customers come back on schedule
• One account for every branch, in 10 languages for staff and customers
Pricing is usage-based: per team member per month and per SMS sent. No subscription, nothing upfront, no card to start.
We'd also rather be upfront about what it doesn't do: Argus doesn't process card payments and has no bulk customer import yet.
We ship improvements most working days, and almost everything in it exists because a working salon asked for it. If you run a grooming salon, or know someone who does, I'd love to hear what's missing and what you'd want next.

Who hunted Argus?
Argus was hunted by George Garsevanishvili. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
