Hey everyone! :wave: I'm Jacob, 23-year-old CTO and co-founder of AquaReport.
Before I was a developer, I was a door-knocker and sales rep in the water filtration industry. Every day I'd sit at kitchen tables showing families what was in their water — using paper reports, clunky spreadsheets, and tools that were never built for our workflow. I knew there had to be a better way, so I started building an app to make our day-to-day easier.
My boss Randy (now our CEO) saw what I was building, saw the market opportunity, and we decided to pursue it together. That's how AquaReport was born.
It's a sales operating system purpose-built for water treatment dealers. The core is a psychology-driven Demo Wizard that walks reps through a 21-step in-home presentation — pulling real EPA contaminant data for the customer's ZIP code, grading their water quality, showing health risks, and recommending the right products. All branded to the dealer's company.
On top of that: CRM, lead tracking, proposals, commissions, scheduling, analytics — everything a water dealer needs in one place instead of duct-taping five tools together.
