AppLocker
Android app lock: lend your phone, keep your apps shut
Someone borrows your phone to make a call or look at a photo. AppLocker keeps everything else shut: your chats, gallery and banking ask for your PIN or pattern. It doesn't use Accessibility, the permission that can read your whole screen and that most app lockers ask for. No account, and your PIN never leaves the phone. If someone guesses wrong, Pro quietly takes their photo and shows the code they tried. Kids Mode leaves only the apps you allow. Free for 3 apps (with ads).
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
Almost every app locker on Android asks for Accessibility, the permission that can read everything on your screen. That always felt backwards to me: the app guarding your privacy shouldn't need to watch you.
So I built AppLocker the other way around. It only knows which app is opening and puts your PIN in front of it. No account, and your PIN never leaves your phone.
My favourite moment is when someone guesses wrong: with Pro, you see their photo and the exact code they tried. And Kids Mode is for when you hand your phone to a child: one tap, and only the apps you allow will open.
It's free for 3 apps (the free plan shows ads). Which app would you lock first, and what's missing?
