Applic
Digital spray log book for Australian grounds contractors
Replace your paper NCR spray log book. Applic auto-fills GPS coordinates and weather when you log a spray, pulls your chemical product details in one tap, and produces an EPA-compliant PDF record — all in 30 seconds. $19/month.
I run a grounds maintenance business in south-east Queensland and have been legally required to keep a chemical application record for every herbicide spray for years. The law says within 48 hours, keep it for 3 years — and the fine for non-compliance is up to $44,000. I was doing it on NCR paper log books.
The problem isn't that contractors don't want to comply — it's that the paper process is genuinely painful in the field. You're hot, you're tired, and the last thing you want to do is fill out 15 fields in a book before you can drive home.
Applic does the annoying parts automatically: GPS from your phone, weather from Open-Meteo, chemical product details from a saved registry. 30 seconds and you're done. Built this for myself first — now making it available to other QLD contractors. Would love feedback from anyone in grounds maintenance, roadside vegetation, or parks management.

Applic was hunted by Riley Briggs. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
