Hi Product Hunt! I'm Dylan, maker of AppFreeGame.
It started with a simple frustration: wanting to play a quick game of chess or Sudoku on a flight, and finding that every "free" game site needed a connection, an app install, or was buried in ads.
So I built AppFreeGame as a PWA: 160+ classic games (chess, xiangqi, Go, mahjong, 2048, card games, logic puzzles...) that load once and then work fully offline. No install, no signup needed, free.
A few things I'm proud of:
- Every board game has a real AI opponent with 3 difficulty levels, and ranked leaderboards
- Same-screen multiplayer for chess, xiangqi and more - pass and play
- 7 languages, including hand-written Cantonese (not machine-converted!)
- Every game ships with a full strategy guide
