Recentemente, em um dos meus projetos de desenvolvimento, deparei-me com um grande gargalo: eu precisava analisar e validar manualmente uma extensa lista de resíduos do IBAMA. Fazer esse processo na unha ou depender de buscas lentas consumia um tempo precioso de desenvolvimento.
Para resolver essa dor, criei a API Lista Brasileira de Resíduos Sólidos (IBAMA). A ideia é simples e direta: permitir que qualquer desenvolvedor ou sistema consulte a descrição, periculosidade e hierarquia de um resíduo através de requisições simples em tempo real.
O projeto está na sua v1.0 (hospedado e funcional), cobrindo mais de 1.000 itens mapeados, e continuará recebendo atualizações frequentes.
