A good friend of mine runs a pretty successful tent and event rental company and used spreadsheets to keep track of all his bookings. I convinced him one day how awful that was, and how it made accidental overbookings super likely the bigger he grew and he decided to test a few of the existing options out there.
They all felt generic. The cheap ones felt clunky. None of them understood tent and event work at all... the layouts, the deposits, the day-of logistics, the way a single Saturday can swing the whole month.
When he told me his gripes, I decided to just build it. I kept building until it did everything a rental business owner needs and nothing they don't.
