I'm Maxi Vargas, the creator of AnywhereDesign.
Like many web developers, I love testing web apps and dashboards on real mobile devices and tablets. But the iteration loop has always felt broken:
- Typing JavaScript syntax on touchscreens is painful.
- Remote Desktop (VNC/RDP) is laggy and battery-draining.
- Cloud sandbox IDEs require uploading private repos to external servers (violating NDAs).
I wanted a way to walk away from my desk with an iPad, touch and test my live React frontend, speak directives into a mic, and watch my local AI agent hot-reload the screen in seconds.
That's why I built AnywhereDesign on three core principles:
1. Local-First Sovereignty: Your code stays on your machine.
2. Zero-Flicker Double Buffering: When code mutates, you stay in your active modal state without blank flashes.
3. Zero-Friction Setup: Standalone Windows installer and a 1-click VS Code extension.
