Paste a TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or X link and get the transcript in seconds: from the video's captions, or AI speech-to-text when it has none. You can also upload MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4 or MOV files, with speaker labels for interviews and podcasts. Cooking videos get a recipe card too. Copy, summarize, or download TXT, SRT or VTT, here or in the Chrome extension. Free for 5 a day, no sign-up. Credits unlock 2-hour videos and bulk.
I build data scrapers for a living, and one I run is a video transcript scraper for developers. People kept asking me for a version they could just paste a link into, without code or an account. So I built Any Video to Text.
What it does: paste a TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or X link and you get the transcript in a few seconds.
It reads the video's own captions when there are any.
When there aren't (most TikToks and Reels), it listens to the audio. That's the part most transcript tools skip.
Upload an MP3 / M4A / MP4 instead: your browser pulls out the audio, and the file itself is never uploaded.
Interviews and podcasts can come back split by speaker, and you can rename Speaker A to a real name.
If the video is a recipe, you also get a recipe card: ingredients with amounts and the steps.
Copy it, summarize it, or download TXT, SRT or VTT, with or without timestamps.
There's a Chrome extension that does it on the video you're watching.
Free: 5 a day, up to 30 minutes each, no sign-up. If you need longer videos, speaker labels or a whole channel at once, there are one-time credit packs (no subscription).

tiktok transcripts without an account is actually handy, does it handle russian or other non english audio ok?
It's quite cool. What will be the difference between asking GPT to do that and asking Gemini if we are speaking about a YouTube video? Good luck with the launch
Using the video's captions first, then falling back to audio, is a useful distinction. Showing which source produced the transcript would help someone know what to check before quoting it.
