Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Amir, the maker of Any Countdown.
Every countdown app starts with a date picker. But most things I actually wait for don't come with a date I know by heart: a film release, a cup final, the next solar eclipse, a season finale. I wanted to type "the next Dune film" and get a widget worth the Home Screen space, with the date found for me.
What it does:
• Describe it in your own words. The AI looks up the real date with web search, asks at most one clarifying question, and drafts three designs. If only a release window is announced, it says so instead of inventing a day.
• 30+ widget styles: editorial type, mechanical counters, ticket stubs, postage stamps, glowing numerals, Swiss grids. Refine in plain words ("warmer colors", "different image").
• Phase-aware widgets: days, then hours on the final day, then "arrived".
• Timeline lays out every countdown in order and shows the gaps between them.
• Gallery: see what everyone else is waiting for and add any of it in a tap. Every public countdown is moderated.
• iPhone, iPad and Mac, synced with iCloud, in 21 languages, with no ad SDK.
Built with SwiftUI and WidgetKit, Firebase and RevenueCat. The AI runs behind a Cloud Function proxy, so no key ships in the app.
