Hey everyone 👋 Anthropic just launched Claude Code on the web. А new way to run coding tasks directly from your browser. Connect GitHub repos, describe what you need, and Claude runs tasks in isolated cloud environments with real-time progress tracking and automatic PRs. Multiple repos, parallel sessions, and bugfixes or routine changes are all supported. It also works on iOS so you can code on the go. Every task runs in a secure sandbox with strict repo access, keeping your code and credentials safe.

This is MASSIVE for my workflow. Being able to engage with Claude Code on my phone without having to SSH into some sort of cloud set-up changes the game for me. Anthropic continues to push meaningful improvements to its tools an a crazy impressive pace. Keep up the good work. Bravo 👏

I love the part where you can interupt the chain of steps. I do that all the time in Cline as well. That said. This is cool. but I think to solve hard problems. This would be more interesting if it was more of a triage setup. Simultaneously building 3 prs. On git work trees. And then let the user cherry pick towards a master version. On shotting hard problems just doesnt work. But triaging with git trees does.

This looks super handy! 👏

Quick question how does Claude handle more complex tasks that require context across multiple files or repos? Does it maintain that context between sessions, or does each task run independently?

lots of big names today, a giant leap for no technical user from terminal!

Claude Code on the web feels like a glimpse into the future of software development 👏

Oh wow this is nice. Can it also link to SSH server directly over the web? That's gonna save so much time, while on the fly

Claude Code has become my go-to partner for building things: it’s behind most of the code I write these days. What I love about this new cross-platform release is how it follows me beyond the desk: I can spin up a feature, walk out the door, and still shape it, refine it, and push it live right from my phone.

Claude Code has become my go-to partner for building things — it’s behind most of the code I write these days. What I love about this new cross-platform release is how it follows me beyond the desk: I can spin up a feature, walk out the door, and still shape it, refine it, and push it live right from my phone. It feels like carrying a tiny engineering team in my pocket.

I've been using Claude Code for a long time, and it’s contributing about 90% of my coding output. This new cross-platform update is incredibly useful for my workflow: I usually have Claude start working on a new feature before I step away from my desk, and now I can get notifications, guide it through roadblocks and carry it to the finishing line from anywhere, as if I was playing mobile games. It genuinely makes coding feel fun for engineers like me.
