Hi Folks, 🎉 Excited to introduce Amigo AI to the Product Hunt community! I’m Tirupati Balan, an indie developer who’s always been passionate about making technology more accessible and useful. Today, I want to share something I’ve been working on for the last few months—Amigo AI, a personal finance management app built specifically for iOS. Why Amigo AI? Managing personal finances on iOS has always been a challenge for me, especially because iOS doesn’t support SMS sync like Android. Logging transactions manually felt tedious and needed consistent effort to turn it into a habit. To address this gap, I wanted to create something that would simplify the entire process—something that would not only make personal finance management easier but also intuitive and automated. That's when Amigo AI was born. What is Amigo AI? Amigo AI is an all-in-one personal finance management app tailored specifically for iOS users. The app started as a solution to my own struggles with manual transaction logging. However, it has evolved into a powerful tool that automates budgeting, provides AI-driven insights, and supports multiple language models for personalized financial guidance. The app leverages Gmail Sync to automatically log your transactions and provides various AI-driven features like category-based budget management, spending insights. How Amigo AI Works • Gmail Sync: Initially, I built Amigo AI to manually manage transactions, but it wasn’t long before I grew tired of manual entry. When I integrated Gmail Sync, things took a turn for the better. The app now performs a delta sync every time you open it, fetching your transactions from Gmail quickly and accurately, making manual logging obsolete. A quick note: we’re still finalizing our TAC security compliance, so you might see a "Not Safe" warning during Gmail login. I’m on it and should have it resolved soon! • AI-Powered: Amigo AI integrates advanced language models like Gemini 1.5 Pro, GPT-4o, and Claude 3.5 Sonnet to provide predefined prompts, offering insights and summaries of your spending. You can also add your own GPT key, set custom instructions, and support multiple languages to tailor the experience to your needs. Additionally, the app features AI-enabled budget management, automatically updating your budget for each category based on your transaction history, making financial planning more intuitive and efficient. • Additional Features: The app also offers UPI payment logs, where you can scan and log payments directly from Amigo AI. Badges can be earned through Apple Game Center Achievements, and there’s a 2048 game where you can compare your score with users worldwide. Amigo AI supports iWatch for managing transactions directly from your wrist, has interactive widgets for quick transaction entry, and an iMessage app for splitting expenses quickly and easily. Amigo AI is currently available only on Apple devices. I’m excited to see how it can help others as much as it has helped me. Looking forward to your feedback and suggestions!
