I made Ami Cat because I wanted something that feels alive on my phone without asking anything of me — no sign-up, no ads, no streaks.
Open the app and a little cat is already there. Pet her and a joy gauge fills; let go at the right moment and she gives you back a mood — delighted, shy, lovestruck, smug, unimpressed… 16 in all, some rare.
The part I'm proudest of: hand it a photo of the cat who actually lives with you, and it draws a full character from it — not a filter, not a still portrait. A cat that blinks, reacts, and melts into your palm just like Ami does. Every mood you discover on your own cat unlocks as an iMessage sticker only your cat has.
Small details I obsessed over: full VoiceOver / Dynamic Type / Reduce Motion support, custom sound packs, haptics, 8 alternate icons, and it ships in English / 日本語 / 简体中文.
