I'm Siddharth, one of the two founders behind Amatra.
The original idea came from something incredibly simple: I'd constantly see outfits worn by celebrities or creators that I wanted to try myself, but recreating them meant spending hours searching for similar clothes and imagining how they'd actually look.
We thought: what if it only took one tap?
That idea eventually became Amatra.
Today you can upload your own wardrobe, generate AI outfit tryons, recreate styles from people who inspire you, and share your own looks with others. We also wanted every outfit to stay connected to the original creator, so designers, brands, creators, and everyday fashion lovers can share complete looks while linking the actual clothing they used.
Our vision is to build a social platform where fashion inspiration flows both ways people discover amazing styles, recreate them instantly, and inspire someone else in return.
It's been an amazing journey building this as a team of two, and we're incredibly excited to finally share it with everyone.
