Amazon is full of anonymous junk brands from dropshippers, who all sell the same product disguised under different brands. Amaslop hides these duplicate, junk and scam brands so you can browse through original products only. Choose how you want to flag or ignore the brands by hiding, dimming or labelling the junk listings, and add your own personal allow/blocklists. Also choose to hide sponsored ad results in the search listings too. No account is required and all detection runs offline.

Hey Product Hunt 👋

I built Amaslop to solve a pretty specific Amazon problem: you search for something, and half the results are from anonymous or whitelabel brands selling the exact same product under different names.

Amaslop filters those junk, dropshipping and scam brands out of Amazon search so you can spend less time wading through near-identical listings.

A few things I’m particularly happy with:
- Hide, dim, or label the brands it flags
- Personal allowlists and blocklists
- Option to hide sponsored results too
- Works across all 23 Amazon marketplaces
- Runs entirely in your browser, so there’s no account and no browsing data sent anywhere
- No account, analytics or tracking

The big advantage of Amaslop is that instead of relying on a manually crowdsourced brand safelist, or hand written patterns, we utilise a complex AI-based pipeline to classify the product listings that appear in search results (in addition to the traditional techniques that other extensions use). This allows us to have much wider coverage of the products that users search for.

The AI pipeline is a multi-step pipeline, relying a large part in GPT-6 Astra to power it. It's a really powerful model, but most importantly is really token efficient, which allows this to be run much more frequently to ensure the extension is up to date with new products.

To make sure your browsing stays private, the AI-generated safelists and patterns get synced to your local extension, will all classification running locally on your computer (similar to how an adblocker privacy model works). This also has the benefit of making sure the extension runs really fast when you browse Amazon.

If you shop on Amazon a lot, I’d genuinely love to know what you think and hear if you have any improvement you would like!
