What sets Alrim apart is that it owns the full loop: create, ship, validate, iterate. Most competitors sell a one-time artifact and walk away. Alrim stays in the loop. And at a fraction of what US agencies charge (sub-$2,500), it makes serious GTM support accessible to non-US founders who are otherwise priced out of the market entirely.
Two things. First, money. Serious positioning studios start around $7,500 and climb past $30,000, which is fine for a Series B in San Francisco and impossible for a founder who just raised $400k in Bangalore or Lagos. Second, the industry sells you a document and walks away. You get a nice PDF, then you are on your own to ship it, test it, and hope it works. I wanted it to be affordable, and I wanted to stop handing people a hypothesis and calling it finished.
I started out trying to build a cheaper version of what already exists. Same deliverable, smaller price. That was wrong. Working with founders, I saw the document was never the thing they actually needed. They needed to know whether the positioning landed with a real buyer, then change it based on what came back. So the model shifted from selling artifacts to owning the full loop: create, ship, validate, iterate. I also went fully async, because founders outside the US are spread across every time zone and nobody wants another call.
