I built AlphaForge because backtests that look great in a notebook keep melting in live trading, and because AI agents are finally good enough to run the whole research loop — if you give them the right tool.
What makes it different:
Agent-native by design: bundled agent skills, an MCP server, and a non-interactive --json CLI. Tell Claude Code "find me a strategy" and it explores, optimizes, and validates while you sleep.
Overfitting is surfaced by default: add --split and walk-forward testing shows the in-sample vs out-of-sample gap. No cherry-picking.
Meets you where you trade: strategies are plain JSON and export to TradingView Pine Script v6 in one command.
Local-first: your strategies, trade history, and API keys stay on your machine.
