I've tried to keep a journal maybe ten times. It never lasted past week two. The blank page always won — by the time I sat down to write, I'd already decided the day wasn't interesting enough to be worth typing out.
But I could talk about that same day for five minutes without thinking about it. That gap is the whole product.
With aloud you tap once and talk, the way you'd tell a friend how your day went. It transcribes it and turns it into a real entry — a title, a short summary, the topics you touched on, the emotional tone and energy, and one reflection question. Everything goes into a private calendar you can browse by day, week or month.
It's iOS only for now, with a free trial and then a subscription.
