Your next trip, planned together. Save places, share ideas, and see who's coming along. For weekends away, family vacations, and adventures with friends. Share through iCloud, with no tracking and no separate Along account. Available for iOS and iPadOS.
Hey Product Hunt! I’m Alex, the maker of Along (and other ventures).
The idea started while planning a trip to Singapore with two friends, both named Dominik. We wanted a simple place to collect ideas, organize activities, and see who was coming along.
We didn’t need another booking platform or a minute-by-minute schedule. We just wanted to turn »we should go there« into a plan we could put together and enjoy together.
So I built Along.
You can save that restaurant someone recommended, suggest a museum or a day trip, and see what everyone’s interested in. You can even import a list of saved places from Google Maps, so you don’t have to start from scratch. Ideas don’t need a date or time straight away. When you’re ready, add them to your shared itinerary and let everyone choose whether they’re joining.
A trip map keeps your planned stops in view, and a personal itinerary brings together the activities you’re joining and any private plans of your own. The focus is on shared experiences, with a little room for everyone to do their own thing, too.
Along is completely free, with no tracking. Your plans are stored on your device and synced and shared through iCloud. There’s no separate Along account to create.
It started with our own trip, but I hope it makes planning easier for other groups of friends, families, and colleagues heading somewhere together.
I’d love to hear how you currently organize group trips, and what would make Along useful for your next one.

Who hunted Along?
Along was hunted by Alexander Kaiser. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community. See the full all-time top hunters leaderboard to discover who is shaping the Product Hunt ecosystem.
