Like a lot of writers, I kept running into the same frustration with writing software. Too bloated, too simple, or just not built with the actual writing process in mind. So in 2024 I started building something that fit the way I actually think and write. Nothing grand at first, just a place to catch a thought quickly, find it later, and not get lost in the process. Alistair grew from that, shaped by my own needs as a writer trying to stay organized without losing the thread entirely.
