I'm Prosper Boateng, the creator of AIOS.
I started AIOS with a simple question:
What if AI systems had an operating system designed specifically for intelligent agents instead of traditional applications?
AIOS is an open-source project written in Rust. My long-term vision is to build a platform where AI agents can collaborate, use tools, remember knowledge, plan complex tasks, and eventually help create software and solve real-world problems together.
Today, AIOS already includes the foundations for:
- An AI agent framework
- A plugin architecture
- An SDK for building new agents
- A modular kernel that can grow over time
This is still an early project, and I'm building it step by step. I'm sharing it here because I'd love feedback from developers, AI researchers, Rust enthusiasts, and anyone interested in the future of AI infrastructure.
