trying to figure out which LLM API to use. The pricing gap
between the cheapest and most expensive model right now is
178x — and providers change prices every few weeks without
announcements.

Some things I learned while building this:
• Mistral dropped prices 4x recently and barely anyone
noticed
• DeepSeek cache reads are 120x cheaper than uncached
input — if you're not caching your system prompts
