What made me build this?
I saw many talented people struggle in interviews not because they lacked skills, but because they lacked realistic practice and confidence. Most interview prep tools felt generic and disconnected from actual hiring experiences, which inspired me to build steo.ai.
What problem am I trying to solve?
Interview preparation today is fragmented, expensive, and often unrealistic. steo.ai helps candidates practice real multi-round interview scenarios with AI-driven conversations, personalized feedback, and role-specific simulations.
How did the process evolve while launching this?
We started with a simple AI Q&A prototype, but quickly learned users wanted more realistic and adaptive interview experiences. Over time, we evolved the platform into a multi-round AI mock interview system with conversational memory, dynamic follow-up questions, and detailed feedback to better simulate real hiring processes.
